Hi, I'm Jun Kiat.
I am a former motion graphic designer, turned UX professional, and living in Singapore. After several years in the media industry, I found myself needing a change and a desire to find a more creative outlet to express myself.
UX design appealed to me because it embodies many elements of visual communication, including empathy, a user-centric approach, and understanding the needs and motivations of others. Having a motion design background allows me to create emotions that users readily understand. These emotions are necessary and they help to positively impact consumer behaviour. I hope to play a part in helping to shape the world’s future UX industry.
When I'm not designing, I enjoy other creative outlets such as creating digital illustrations on my handy iPad as I often find drawing therapeutic for me.
